Melbourne Cup 2017
November 9, 2017

True to its form, Melbourne Cup was the race that stopped a nation this year.

Rekindling, the four-year-old stallion and the youngest horse in the field, came in first at Flemington on Tuesday, making it the second Melbourne Cup victory for jockey Corey Brown. It was a nail-biter finish, with number 22 edging out the competition in the last 200 metres of the race. This makes it owner Lloyd Williams‘ sixth Cup win in 36 years. Must be doing something right!

While many of you were track-side, we celebrated a little differently this year! After listening to your feedback, we changed up the menu and our guests enjoyed a delicious 9-course grazing platter feast. Something a little more casual with a lot more variety!

Thank you to all our wonderful customers for choosing to celebrate Melbourne Cup with us.

Take a look at some of the photos from the big day below.

Until next year!
